"Makes my little curious about the different versions of Linux?

Different companies> themselves. Bob Young and Marc Ewing's Red Hat / Fedora / Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Debian, Ian Murdock thought, Lance Davis is CentOS, Ubuntu, Mark Shuttleworth, Dan Robbins, Gentoo. Linus Torvalds has the Linux kernel.

> Linus Torvalds end of the 80s was like a free "time," a side project of the late 80s. He and many others created at the net and then kept adding to Slackware Patrick Volkerding from one of the first attempts to "SLS distribution. Overtime was kept building. Read more about Linus Torvalds, Richard Stallman and understand the hacker culture, which I mean.

How can their resources on, continue for a free operating system?

'It is absolutely secure.
