I live in Dawson City, Yukon, which is about 100 kilometers (60 miles) from the border of Alaska. There are many people who pass through here on their way to / from Alaska. Many make a loop - from Dawson and Whitehorse. Take the Alaska Highway south and just across the road for the global North. Fairbanks is a place that is big enough, I (a passport to go there, but I will) this summer and I've heard is true. There are many unique places to visit soon.

Of course, Dawson City is a! It is the home of the Gold Rush and the town looks much like it at this time, the dirt roads, walks, and everything. You can even bread (free) in claims 4 - just downstream from where he made the big strike. What you are, you can keep.

The distance is very important, much bigger than them on a map. And not many people. Some of us so!

When you make this trip, $ 14 for a travel guide "Frommer's Alaska, pop. You can get an on-line at Amazon or a big bookstore like borders or Barnes & Nobel. It will pay for itself. How interesting reading and can sparks new ideas for you to view your trip.
